Core Web Vitals optimisation

A performance audit that ends in a PDF has not helped anyone. We diagnose against real field data from your actual visitors, fix what we find, and stay with it until the report goes green.
There are three metrics that matter. Largest Contentful Paint measures how quickly the main content appears. Interaction to Next Paint — which replaced First Input Delay as a Core Web Vital in 2024 — measures how quickly the page responds when someone actually interacts with it. Cumulative Layout Shift measures how much the page moves around while it loads.
Lab tools like Lighthouse are useful for finding causes, but they are not what Google uses to assess your site. That comes from the Chrome User Experience Report: real visits, on real devices, on real connections. We work from field data first and use lab tools to reproduce and diagnose what the field data reveals.
The causes are usually familiar. LCP is slow because the hero image is unoptimised, loaded late, or waiting behind a render-blocking stylesheet or webfont. INP is poor because a heavy JavaScript bundle is occupying the main thread when the user taps. CLS is high because images have no dimensions, or a webfont swaps, or an ad or banner is injected above existing content.
The fixes are equally concrete: correctly sized and prioritised images in modern formats, deferred and split JavaScript, self-hosted fonts with the right loading strategy, explicit dimensions on every image and embed, and reserved space for anything that arrives after first paint.
You get a before-and-after comparison on both lab and field data, and a written explanation of what was slow and why — so the same problems do not quietly return with the next release.
